This summer I was an intern for Alethea Group, a D.C.-based for-profit firm that helps campaigns and high-profile companies detect potential disinformation about their organization and respond appropriately. Alethea Group not only views disinformation as a political issue but as a national security issue as well. Their mission is to help organizations protect and navigate the truth, especially in the new digital sphere.
