Abstract
I worked at Butler Hospital, which is a psychiatric hospital affiliated with Brown University and located in Providence, RI. I helped with data entry, cleaning, and management, and miscellaneous tasks such as flyering, posting recruitment advertisements, and literature searches. I hope that when we are allowed to go back into the lab that I will be able to observe data collection (such as clinical interviews) with psychiatric inpatients. My summer internship has been extended into the school year, but I have not been offered a job. I would highly recommend this internship to another CC student. Not only was I able to gain experience in research, I was also able to discuss professional development related topics in bi-weekly meetings with research assistants who work in the lab.
