Abstract
HPI School of Allied Health is a private vocational school that provides Certified Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Technician courses. I completed a 6-week CNA course that included one week of clinical externship where I worked directly with residents in a subacute facility. Grace Healthcare Services is an organization founded by hospice professionals and provides services to better improve hospice care. I worked as a hospice volunteer by visiting residents and providing company and support when needed.
