Abstract
Throughout July of 2021, I interned as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Beacon College, in Leesburg, Florida. I assisted with their Summer for Success program, a three-week immersion camp that provides a mock college experience for students who learn differently. I worked within a special education classroom as well as residential life, assisting with various lessons, activities, and field trips. I provided support within the classroom and beyond, helping to teach and mentor students.
