The Center for Autism Research Excellence (CARE) Lab works to improve knowledge about language and social communication in people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. CARE does research with all ages using behavioral, brain, and cognitive measures. They use the data to try to understand the range of abilities, developmental patterns, and brain systems that explain why some people with ASD have trouble communicating with spoken language.
