Abstract
I interned in the Fish and Invertebrate department at the Mystic Aquarium in the summer of 2025. My experience included a wide variety of opportunities and species that I worked with and cared for. System maintenance and water quality were large focuses of the internship as well. This was an incredibly active experience, with a lot of hands-on opportunities. Worked with animals, from jellyfish, to a green sea turtle, to crabs, to stingrays, and even sharks. There was no end to the range of experiences and in-depth looks into aquarium operations, marine animal care, and biology. The experience was highly fulfilling and a joy to be a part of in an incredible workplace.
