Youbloom is a company that helps connect emerging artists with fans and venues. They aim to create a more intimate live music experience. As a Market Research Intern, I reported data about the social media accounts as well as the website traffic weekly and derived insights from these metrics. I presented this information in the marketing meetings. I also created posts for the social media accounts and coordinated the Artist of the Week, an emerging artist featured each week on the social media. I gained experience in both marketing and market research, and learned what it is like to work in this field.
