Abstract
'New London, It's Happening: Mapping Community Cultural Connections' is a PICA Senior Integrative Project by Sarah Goodman Duffy; and advised by Dr Karen Pezzetti in the Educational Studies Department. This project is an exploration of all things New London. It seeks to identify the many resources that New London has to offer and draw connections between who these organizations are serving and the role they play in the community. Through cataloging community organizations, schools, institutions, and other resources throughout the city in order to create a visual asset map. This project drew on resources provided by the Holleran Center as well as from interviews with cultural brokers in New London.
