Lyrics
[Verse 1]
My heart is waiting for somebody; somebody, where can he be?
Somewhere on earth he’s waiting, waiting and watching for me.
My heart shall be faithful and true then to that somebody where’er he be,
For my heart is locked now firmly and fast but there’s someone possessing the key.
Why do you look so sad, my dear?
Why do you look so at me?
You say you are discouraged, that you do not hold the heart key
How shall I know who’s the somebody?
My heart will tell faithful and true.
You wonder who can be the somebody?
Well! Somebody, darling, is you!
