Abstract

This summer I interned in the Neurology department at Children’s National Hospital which is a teaching hospital in Washington DC. As a Research Intern I was able to conduct chart review analyses, attend paper discussions, intakes and lectures as well as shadow via zoom in both the headache clinic and the epilepsy clinic.I would highly recommend this internship to another CC student. Although there were some technical issues and delays in research ( all due to the transition to remote working in the pandemic) everyone at Children’s National was so welcoming and willing to give me the best experience possible. I learned a lot and this experience will definitely help me in my future career.
