Abstract
This summer, my original plans for an internship were unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of my career advisor, we both decided that an alternative option for me would be to take a couple of summer classes. With my stipend money, I enrolled in Anatomy and Physiology I and Anatomy and Physiology II at Massbay Community College. I also worked as a volunteer at the American Red Cross. Blood donations during this time are crucial and with all the extra safety precautions that need to be taken, staff members found themselves overwhelmed and short-staffed. I picked up a handful of shifts this summer working at a few different donation centers.
