CARE is a nonprofit organization on Cape Cod that works to preserve marine and coastal life and bring awareness to how climate change affects the Cape.
Brief description of your responsibilities:
Assist CARE employees with marketing and communications tasks: take notes on conference calls with employees and board members, update the contact list online, write articles for the email newsletter, update media list, write a communication plan for 2020-2021, create social media posters for CARE, brainstorm social media ideas.

I would medium recommend this internship to other Conn students. It is a good way to gain experience in both the nonprofit and environmental world.
