Abstract
During the summer of 2020, I conducted a remote editorial internship with Magenta Florence & Vista Florence––a digital and printed pubblication for ex-pats in Florence, Italy. My tasks included translating Italian articles into English for Magenta, Tuscan Trends, and the magazine's column in the national newspaper La Repubblica Firenze. I also Skyped weekly with my supervisor. I gained experience in Italian translation, jouranlistic writing, interperting press releases for literary festivals/exhibits/restaurants/etc., and learning more about Florentine culture and history.
