Partners Jordan works to advance Democracy, notions of civil society, and conflict mediation and management, in Jordan. They are based in Amman.
Brief description of your responsibilities:
Researching refugee camp issues such as those faced by Syrian refugees in several of the Jordanian refugee camps such as Za’atari; Generating a guide to hosting a Social Hackathon to attract free technology solutions to local issues; Identifying and applying to grant funding for projects that Partners Jordan wanted to pursue; Researching the issue of Period Poverty - sanitary challenges experienced specifically by women; Researching the use of Grievance Mechanisms in civil society, Creation of a Civil Society Emergency Response Plan for refugee camps, specifically dealing with COVID 19 issues.
