Abstract
As a Research Trainee, I completed a project on colorectal cancer screening disparities, specifically in patients with limited English proficiency.
During the summer, I worked on a comprehensive literature review and paper introduction on racial, ethnic, and language disparities in colorectal cancer screening rates. I also attended Research Fellow Summer Course and Patient-Reported Outcome Measure Summer School classes. After finishing the literature review and paper introduction, I presented my findings to our lab group for feedback.
