Abstract
I was a non-degree visiting student at the University of Connecticut. I completed two courses in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department to begin the prerequisite courses needed for a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders.
Introduction to Communication Disorders provided an overview of speech-language pathology and audiology, including the disorders and treatment methods across the lifespan. Speech and Language Acquisition focused on language development from infancy to school-aged children.
