Abstract
This paper discusses the Summer work I did with Professor Queen. I joined her project of translating the Spring and Autumn Annals, written during the warring states period in China. This position gave me needed experience in the field of academic research and writing. There were many challenges over the Summer but I believe that this experience helped me grow and test out the skills I had learned through my liberal arts education.
