Abstract
For my 2021 Internship I worked with Give Way to Freedom, a nonprofit organization based in Vermont and New York that supports and creates initiatives to combat human trafficking and empower the survivors of human trafficking. During my internship I researched anti-human trafficking efforts taken by Government Agencies, New York State Government and the Dutchess County Government. Furthermore, I researched the Victims of Crime Act, the Polaris Project, Backpage.com, Safe Harbor funding and more.
