Abstract

Xylem is a water technology company that strives to bring access to clean and affordable drinking water to communities around the world. In addition to developing and selling water technologies, Xylem also strives to educate communities about proper water sanitation and to create plans to help communities in times of water related disasters. This summer, I interned in the Business Incubator at Xylem, which is where new technologies start their development. The Incubator is a controlled environment where ideas for new technologies can be developed in a protected but effective space.
