Abstract

For this project I worked to develop a Storywalk® program at Waltham Fields Community Farm, a nonprofit organization in Waltham, Massachusetts. My tasks included creating and formatting a "take-away" activity book, creating and editing a read-aloud of each book used, utilizing components of the activity book in our kids' summer programming, and designing assembling the presentation and infrastructure of the Storywalk®. During this internship I gained skills in google doc formatting, iMovie editing and assembling an outdoor presentation, and refined skills in time management, organization, and developing and delivering curriculum in an outdoor education setting.
