Abstract
This past summer, I had the opportunity to work independently alongside four Brooklyn-based artists in their studios. Each of the four artists has helped me immensely to learn valuable technical skills that will strengthen my personal art work as well as offered me guidance to professionally navigate the competitive art world that they are all surrounded by. As a studio art major, before heading into the summer preceding my junior year of college, I acknowledged the importance of gaining experience while I am still on my academic journey at Conn.
