Abstract
Though I can’t imagine what an actual internship would have been like, I’d like to think that having went to Paris for an individual study proved incredibly fruitful for me because I was free to explore my interests guided by the syllabus that Director Heather Heckel that tailor-made for me. This experience reminded me how important it is to be in an environment where I can feel inspired and constantly remind me of my academic pursuits. Being in an art historically rich city such as Paris motivated me to go out and explore my artistic interests, and also observe and appreciate the different culture.
