Abstract

The Collections Management Internship at The Scituate Historical Society offered the opportunity to work directly with historical objects, artifacts, and archival materials ranging between the 17th and 20th centuries. Provenance and historical research, exhibit label writing, and updating accession records were all crucial aspects of the internship as was collaborating with textile and furniture conservators.
