Abstract
Massachusetts Law Reform Institute (MLRI) is a poverty law advocacy center, that advocates for legislation to secure justice for low income families.
As the Language Access and Racial Justice intern, I conducted research, created original graphics, attended meetings and took detailed notes, brainstormed project ideas, and collaborated with other advocates and interns. Following the guidance of my supervisors, I contributed to MLRI projects in the Housing, Health, and Immigration units, in collaboration with my assignment in Language Access and Racial Equity. In addition, I reflect upon how this internship relates to my PICA SIP, and what I learned from this experience.
