Abstract
The summer of 2023 marked a significant milestone in my academic and professional journey as I undertook an internship as a software engineer at Google's New York City office. I was on the Google Ads team and was actively involved in a backend project. This project entailed the redesign of an existing application interface for an internal pipeline used by Google Ads, which is dedicated to measuring the impact of YouTube advertisements. The goal was to simplify and enhance the pipeline, making it more scalable for future demands. This technical internship fortified my commitment to the field of software engineering, equipping me with a rich tapestry of skills and insights that are pivotal in the tech industry.
