Abstract

This is a reflection on my experience in the summer of 2024 at the Massachusetts State House, working with the Massachusetts House of Representatives. It was a unique opportunity to see how one of the best state governments in the country functions, how bills become law on this level, learn about constituent services, anther from a number of notable executive and legislative branch speakers. I learned a lot about the profession I'd want to get into after college, as well as about myself, through this experience.
