Abstract
DesegregateCT is a non-profit organization with a coalition of neighbors and nonprofits advocating for the pro-homes movement. DesegregateCT is based in Connecticut and is a program of Regional Plan Association. My role for Summer 2024 was to be an Organizing Intern for this organization. In this role, I conducted election research, participated in grant writing, and organized a Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) Walk Audit in Groton, CT. Through this experience, I was able to connect to local lawmakers in the Eastern Region of Connecticut and continue to foster my public service relationship in the greater New London community.
