Abstract

This summer I had an internship at Elite Medical Boston, where I was a medical and clinical administrative assistant. I worked closely with patients of the international pediatric population of Boston, with many families coming from the Middle East to receive care. I developed clinical skills working as a medical assistant, taking vitals, creating/ maintaining patient charts, administrating medication, etc. I also did administrative work for the company such as billing, nurse scheduling, supply order/upkeep, and various other tasks involved in patient care.
