Abstract

Safe Futures, Inc. is a domestic violence resource organization located in New London. They offer services such as counseling, a hotline, safe houses, community support, and engagement programs. I served as an intern in the counseling and advocacy department and am now an intern at their safe house. This experience was enlightening, transformative, and helped me grow professionally as well as grow as an individual.
