Abstract

This essay reflects on my experience as a Media and Design intern at Bartman MMA, where I led the rebranding of the organization to develop its visual identity. The internship provided valuable insights into real-world design management, highlighting the differences between academic and professional work. Through this experience, I honed essential skills such as time management, leadership, and collaboration while gaining a deeper understanding of the creative process and workplace dynamics. The essay also explores how my liberal arts education prepared me for this role and helped shape my future career goals in design.
