Abstract

I conducted research on hematopoietic stem cells using zebrafish as a model to promote possible therapeutic pathways to treat hematologic disorders. During the lab I performed and familiarized with procedures including: gel electrophoresis, zebra fish embryonic injections, WISH, bacterial transformation, PCR, FACS, genotyping, and DNA purification. I collaborated with 16 peers, postdocs, PhD and laboratory researchers to explore molecular biology.
