Abstract
Working at the Bates Dance Festival, as the Photography Intern this past summer, my role consisted of dance, photography, editing, organization, marketing, and collaboration. Having taken courses in these realms at Connecticut College and having had leadership roles in all of these artistic mediums as well, I was eager to dive into this collaborative environment. After having this opportunity to work for a world-renowned, international, dance festival, I have a lot more respect for my own abilities and craft. I feel valuable and capable of conducting myself and my future business. I have always felt that my future career will consist of many different mediums, stages, and creative outlets, but having confidence in my ability to successfully work in dance photography has provided me with immense relief.
