Abstract
I interned for Caribbean Equality Project, a Queer Caribbean justice organization based in New York City. I had the chance to work with their Queer Caribbeans Archive and the "Queer Caribbeans of NYC" exhibition to create an exhibition catalog and a virtual exhibit. In addition to this, I learned a lot about Caribbean history and activism, and I networked throughout NYC. The internship has inspired my Museum Studies capstone project and some of my career goals.
