Abstract

After my experience abroad in Rome in and architecture program I was struggling to find self confidence in my design ability while looking for and internship at the start of the summer. I ended up with two amazing opportunities because I was persistent and open to working hard even if it was not what I was expecting out of an architectural internship. I worked with Gavin Robb on a pop-up park in Somerville. I worked with my hands and got to see a heartwarming community building project come together. I also interned at TIA Architecture at the Nacul Center for Ecological Architecture. There I learned about Tullio Inglese's design theory and got to work on design for a mega city.
