Abstract
This past summer, I had the amazing opportunity to work as a pre-program paper conservation intern in the Georgia Archives’ conservation lab. As a pre-program art conservation student, it is integral for me to get as much hands-on experience conserving art and working with professional art conservators as possible. This internship gave me 400 hours worth of vital experience in a conservation lab with a focus on paper and book conservation. Through this internship, I found that my favorite material to conserve is paper, and this subset of art conservation is what I want to pursue in graduate school and my future career.
