Abstract
This paper reflects on my summer internship at Snyk, a cybersecurity startup in Boston, where I worked in a sales role. Snyk offers tools that help developers address security vulnerabilities in code. I secured the position through networking, which emphasized the importance of personal connections in today’s job market. The internship helped me develop key skills in communication, organization, and critical thinking while learning about the tech and cybersecurity sectors. Managing client outreach and responsibilities independently enhanced my productivity and time management. Overall, the experience shaped my career direction and provided a potential job opportunity after graduation.
