Abstract

This past summer I did an internship in Nantes, France with an organization called Kit ou Double (KOD). Kit ou Double (Kit or Double in english) is a local not-for-profit that works in mental health education and awareness, typically for students between the ages of 14 and 30 years old. It is run by volunteers who live in or close to Nantes who have experience in the fields of mental health, education, and business. The main objective of Kit ou Double is to provide mental health knowledge and resources to young people so they can understand what to do in a situation where they might need help with their mental health. Additionally, one of the biggest reasons I was drawn to this organization is because they are also very focused on destigmatizing mental health and mental health disorders.
