Abstract
This summer I attended the Blazer BRAIN program at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. This program placed me in a neuroscience lab where I worked full time for 8 weeks during the summer. I learned lab skills, interpersonal and professional skills, and prepared for graduate school. This was an invaluable experience I would recommend to anyone interested in a graduate education in neuroscience.
