Abstract

This paper reflects upon my experience at Middlebury's Language Schools, and specifically L'École de Français. The immersive program included hours of class each week, as well as supplemental activities and the ability to live entirely in one's target language. This paper discusses the application process, the relevant staff and community at the program, and a reflection of the program and its success with language acquisition as a whole.
