Abstract

This paper reflects on my four-week internship at the Forman School, where I worked with the Chief Cognition and Learning Officer on projects related to executive function and student learning. My main task was helping develop the Executive Function (EF) Dashboard, a tool to support time management, organization, and study skills. I also attended a teaching and learning conference, observed classes, and joined team meetings. These experiences helped me build skills in communication, organization, and collaboration while also challenging me to step into a professional role in a familiar setting. The internship showed me how neuroscience, psychology, and education can connect, and it clarified my interest in exploring how technology can support student learning in the future.
