Abstract

Over the summer, I completed several Udemy tattooing courses as well as an Airborne and Bloodborne Pathogens certification. The Udemy classes introduced me to tattooing basics, small designs, and professional ethics. I practiced on fake skin, learned tips for safe needle disposal, and gained confidence in my technique. The certification course focused on health risks, proper safety measures, and legal responsibilities for tattoo artists and shop owners. Together, these courses prepared me for both the artistic and practical sides of tattooing. They also deepened my understanding of how to build safe, professional, and ethical relationships with future clients.
