Abstract
New London Trees is a grassroots non profit with a mission of increasing New London's tree canopy through community planting, education and advocacy. As an all volunteer organization, they rely heavily on urban forestry interns through the Connecticut College Arboretum to support their work. This summer I served as the Urban Forestry Internship coordinator for the organization.
