Abstract
After nearly spending the past two years in anticipation of my internship in Spain, I have finally returned from two months of a highly immersive neuropsychological laboratory experience in Barcelona. Entering the program, my goals were to integrate my ongoing research on psychache, neurological endangerment, and trauma with the technical training offered at FIDMAG. I wanted to learn how psychiatric neuroimaging could help illuminate the invisible dimensions of suffering and how brain research might connect to the conditions of displacement and migration that frame my SIP.
