Abstract
This paper reflects on my internship at UTHealth Houston, School of Behavioral Health Sciences. During this time, I engaged in hands-on learning focused on methodologies used in neurodegenerative disease research, particularly through an Alzheimer's disease mouse model. Collaborating with my PI and postdoctoral mentors allowed me to strengthen essential skills required in the neuroscience field.
