Abstract
This summer, I worked as an Administrative Intern for Urbanity Dance in Boston, MA. Through working under Founder/Director, Betsi Graves, and engaging in Urbanity's three core pillars: company, school, and community, I gained hands-on experience in the diverse landscape of arts administration at a nonprofit dance organization. The skills I developed through this internship are directly transferable to my studies as a Film Studies and Dance double major at Connecticut College, as well as to my goals for post-grad career opportunities. I couldn't recommend Urbanity Dance more highly and am grateful for the three months I spent as part of their administrative team.
