Abstract
This paper reflects on my Summer 2025 internship with Raytheon Technologies and its impact on my professional growth. Working in finance for the Global Patriot Missile Program, I used SAP to analyze weekly actuals and built Excel reports that informed leadership decisions on resource allocation and performance. These tasks gave me firsthand insight into how financial data drives operations in a global aerospace and defense company. The experience also strengthened my soft skills. Daily mentor check-ins and a group project to improve reporting processes improved my communication, collaboration, and time management. I learned to adapt quickly, balance deadlines, and seek clarification more readily. Overcoming challenges with complex software highlighted both resilience and the value of teamwork.
