Abstract

This summer I was fortunate enough to stay in New London as I completed multiple internships. I was able to work with Professor Vallye as a research assistant on a Mellon Foundation grant project called A Right to Housing: Case Study Connecticut. I also had the opportunity to work with the New London County Historical Society for their summer discovery program as an educator. Both of these opportunities helped me learn about the community here in New London and explore other options of what I would like to do with my major in the future. I am very grateful for the chance to work with people so knowledgeable and educated in their fields.
