Abstract

This is a reflection on a student's experience in taking classes through New York University's School of Professional Studies. In order to prepare herself for a potential career in publishing and editing, this student took classes in relation to the media industry and English grammar so she could apply learned skills to future endeavors. This serves both as a way to educate others on the program, as well as a personal reflection of the student's growth.
