Abstract

My Reflection as a Health Equity Fellow Intern

When I reflect on my internship as a Health Equity Fellow with the Ledge Light Health District's Black Health Collective (BHC), I view it as an opportunity that taught me more than I anticipated. It was more than simply doing the responsibilities assigned to me; it was also about knowing where I belonged in the mission of health justice, how I was challenged, and how I evolved during the process. This essay is a perspective on how I found the experience, what I learned, the skills I utilized, the problems I encountered, and how this internship relates to my overall academic and personal development.
