Abstract
My experience this summer at the West End House Boys and Girls Club as an HR intern was overall really amazing. I learned a great deal about what I want to do in the future and the kind of environment I aspire to work in. As someone looking to pursue a career in Human Resources, gaining hands-on experience through shadowing and learning from professionals in the field was really helpful. I would definitely choose this experience again. It helped me grow as a candidate, and the environment I was working in was an overall positive one. This experience made me realize that I enjoy talent acquisition, and that is what I aspire to do for a career after college. I hope to find a job similar to this internship in the future.
